About

US Coast Guard District Map
The Auxiliary has members in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Guam. Membership is open to men and women, 17 years or older, U.S. citizens of all states and territories, civilians or active duty or former members of any of the uniformed services and their Reserve components, including the Coast Guard. Facility (radio station, boat or aircraft) ownership is desirable but not mandatory.
Auxiliarists are dedicated civilians who believe strongly in the
Coast Guard and its missions. A hearty thank you is the only pay an
Auxiliarist expects. Personally, we receive tremendous satisfaction
for a job well done. We have proven valiant throughout the years and
take the oath of membership seriously.
We contribute immeasurably and proudly to Team Coast Guard.

Division 24 History
On 2 August 1967, Division 24 was formed when Division 6 was
divided. On 25 August 1967, the chartering ceremony for Division 24
was held at the Carriage Inn in Huntsville, Alabama. The charter
Division Captain was Stephen B. Yonkowski and the Vice-Captain was
Charles Rogers. Division 24 consisted of five flotillas—24-1 in
Huntsville (chartered 4 June 1964) and 24-3 in Decatur, 24-4 in
Florence (chartered 4 June 1964), and 24-5 in Corinth. Flotillas
have come and gone over the years. In April 2007, only 24-1 and 24-4
survive as charter flotillas of the Division. In April 2007 the
Division has the following flotillas: 24-1 (Huntsville), 24-2
(Guntersville), 24-4 (Florence), 24-5 (Whitesburg-Ditto Landing),
24-6 (Huntsville-Redstone Arsenal), and 24-7 (Scottsboro).
